Ladies and gentlemen,
Dear colleagues and friends,
It is my true pleasure and privilege to be with you today and to exchange views with you about our shared passion, water.
自从我在荷兰开始我自己的事业，我就热心于开发一种产品并进行市场推广，该产品不仅具有商业价值，而且对环境的正面影响都要远远高于我以前所参与的工作。自从我们于20世纪90年代中期在德国首次开发出我们的产品，我的公司得到了大量的支持，并进行大量投资，从而开发出现在已经成为世界著名的“双纯”品牌。我们的努力无非是想在工业中优化水处理系统。
Ever since I started out as an entrepreneur in the Netherlands, I have had a keen desire for a much higher level of product development and marketing with a view to impact both the industry and the environment in a larger scale than the business I was involved in before. Since we encountered our product for the first time in Germany in the mid-1990’s, my company has actively supported and invested substantially towards the full development of what has become world famous as Twinoixde. Our efforts were aimed at redefining the benchmark and optimizing the systems of water treatment in the industry.
传统上，水通常用氯进行消毒，而“双纯”产品的问世则为用二氧化氯取代氯气来进行水消毒提供了很好的选择。当我们刚开始着手“双纯”产品时，我们面对的是一个非常保守的工业，该工业正利用一种具有致癌性的化学物质毁坏着我们宝贵的资产。随着工业界以及社会对传统氯基消毒剂所产生的及时和潜在的健康和安全隐患不断增长，水处理工业逐渐意识到必须立即寻找在水处理中确实是安全可靠，更加高效并且无副产物以及副作用的取代物。
The creation of the TwinOxide product has delivered the best alternative to traditional chlorine-based materials for water disinfection. When we started with Twinoixde we were facing a highly conservative industry, which was spoiling our most precious asset with chemistry that is known to have carcinogenic properties. Amid the ever-increasing concerns of the industry and society by and large about the imminent and potential health and safety risks of the traditional chlorine-type disinfectants, the water industry has always recognized the urgent need for alternative materials that can deliver a truly safe and a more efficient system of water disinfection without anymore the harmful by –products and side effects. In response to this ongoing quest for alternative materials, we have successfully developed and offered a material through Twinoixde that can now reassure us with true cleanliness and safety of our water for a more sustainable treatment and supply of water to consumers. Our key words are simplicity and quality.
为了应对这一发展趋势，我们已经成功的开发出“双纯”产品，该产品为我们提供了可持续化的水处理，并且为我们的客户提供真正清洁安全的处理水。我们的关键词是简洁、质量。
In response to this ongoing quest for alternative materials, we have successfully developed and offered a material through Twinoixde that can now reassure us with true cleanliness and safety of our water for a more sustainable treatment and supply of water to consumers. Our key words are simplicity and quality.
女士们，先生们，我们已经走了很长一段路，但我们有关“一个完全没有有害生物杀灭剂”的梦想还没有完全实现。要改变使用已经有一个世纪的氯气消毒剂，就像让中国人吃面包，让欧洲人吃米饭一样困难。尽管使用氯气消毒已经面临系列批评，全球的政策制定者已经意识到用氯气进行水消毒必须限制，甚至完全禁止，但是我们现在以及在将来将仍然面临很大挑战。因此坚持和决心就至关重要。我们很高兴可以参与到该项事业，我们更加高兴你们也一起参与进来。
Ladies and gentlemen, we came a very long way and our dream, a world free of hazardous biocides, has not come true yet. Changing a mindset, which has been predominantly programmed and biased by chlorine for more than a century, is like selling bread in China and rice in Europe. Although the use of chlorine is subject to mounting criticism and policy makers all over the world acknowledge that its use for water disinfection must be curbed or , better phased out, we are still experiencing an uphill battle every now and then. Perseverance and determination are therefore necessary. We are happy to possess these assets ourselves and even more happy to detect them in you as well.

However, having a superior water disinfectant does not automatically lead to business success or improved living conditions for the underprivileged. We are fully aware that this product requires a rock solid global distribution organization with the same characteristics and qualities as the product itself. It takes two to tango. Only a sound combination of product and organization provides and effective recipe for success and sustainable growth. We are pleased that our global distribution network is continuously being reinforced with reliable partners like you; distinguished companies with skilled and experienced professionals that we capable to successfully market and distribute Twinoxide to the benefit of our society and environment. Our distributors are the key drivers for an improved future. A future without toxic and carcinogenic substances in our water and the environment, for our generation and our children. We have the opinion that disinfection does not need to cost our earth.

Ladies and gentlemen, since we have started our mission to diminish the use of dangerous biocides, we are widely considered as pioneers in the development of a revolutionary chlorine dioxide material being used for water disinfection and /or water treatment as an alternative to chlorine and chlorine-type disinfectants, which are detrimental to health and environment. Why? Because our relentless efforts are not only propelled by economic interests. Although Twinoixde adds significant value to the business of our worldwide customers, we are fully aware that our business entails a very special social corporate responsibility, which we are ready to take up as a challenge together with you.
